Amelia Toffee Company To Move Manufacturing Facilities to Amelia Island Florida
July 8, 2019 - The Amelia Toffee Company announced plans to relocate its manufacturing operations from Jacksonville, Florida to Amelia Island, Florida where the company will consolidate its facilities. Amelia Toffee Company will take over the space formerly occupied by the Great Harvest Baking Company. The move is in response to the company’s 80 percent year-to-date growth; this marks a significant milestone in Amelia Toffee Company’s history, which has brought toffee to the forefront of premium dessert snacks.
Town of Callahan Awards Residential Contract to Meridian Waste
June 18, 2019 - Meridian Waste, an integrated, non-hazardous solid waste services company, was awarded its first Florida residential solid waste services contract by the Town of Callahan at last night’s Town Council meeting. April 23, 2019 - Raydient Places + Properties announced that KinderCare® Learning Centers is building a more than 10,000-sq. ft. early childhood education and care facility in Wildlight, the new town under development in Nassau County. The Yulee KinderCare center will serve more than 100 children between the ages six weeks to 12 years old when the center opens in late 2019.

April 4, 2019 - Nassau County is reviewing plans for two projects near Wildlight – the Wildlight Marketplace and the Baptist Medical Village. And the St. Johns River Water Management District is reviewing an application for the St. Clare Early Learning Center by the Diocese of St. Augustine in Wildlight. The marketplace and Baptist projects are proposed south of Florida A1A from Rayonier Inc.’s Wildlight residential, business and retail center at northeast A1A and Interstate 95.
