Grow Your Business with the RISE Pilot Program
Nassau County is dedicated to creating an environment where small businesses can expand with confidence. The RISE (Resources for Small Business Expansion) pilot program helps reduce financial barriers by covering a portion of County development costs.
Qualified for-profit businesses can receive up to $20,000 in fee credits to assist with expenses such as permits, inspections, mobility, and impact fees. These incentives are limited to Nassau County charges and do not apply to fees issued by municipalities.
Participation begins with preparation and guidance. Business owners must have a formal business plan and partner with a Small Business Development Center (SBDC) advisor, who will help determine eligibility and guide you through the application process.
Once approved, credits can be applied directly to eligible County fees—making it easier to invest more resources back into your business.
