Nassau County School District welcomes FastTrackD training program
May 23, 2016
This summer the Nassau County School District will once again partner with Cook Systems to bring FastTrack’D! to the Lewis “Red” Bean Nassau Technical Career Center (NTCC) in Yulee.
FastTrack’D is a FREE train-to-hire program for aspiring Java developers. It consists of an 8 week full-time boot camp styled course. Applicants that pass the summer program are hired at a starting salary in the mid-30s and receive regularly scheduled pay increases. At the end of the three year apprenticeship styled employment, you will be earning approximately $70K per year. Veteran developers may earn as much as $120K per year as they become senior level programmers later in their careers. Applicants must be open to relocation if placement requires it.
If you or your friends have the aptitude and ambition to become a developer and want to know more, please plan to attend one of the informational sessions scheduled for Wednesday evening, May 25th, in the Nassau Room at the NTCC. Starting times are 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
The sessions will last about one hour and will cover details of the career, the FastTrack’D! program, and the application process. Please call Brent Lemond at 548-4474 if you would like more information.
